Frequently Asked Questions:

What is an online Ticket Broker?

An online ticket broker is one that acts as an agent for others for a fee. An online ticket broker will take these orders online. The broker will assist in the selling of tickets for customers. There are two ways the broker can do this. The first is selling tickets on consignment for the customer. Once the tickets are sold the broker will keep a percentage of the sale. The second is buying the tickets from the customer. They then try to sell the tickets themselves. If the market drops the ticket broker suffers the loss. In either case, it is the ticket brokers job to put the buyer and seller together for a fee.

Why did I pay above face value for the tickets?

The tickets you purchased are being sold at market price. That means the ticket broker is buying the ticket at market price. A customer selling their tickets generally wants to get their money's worth. The biggest reason for the price increase is the cost to obtain the tickets. Added to that would be basic business expenses.

What are "blinkers"?

The word blinker is a slang term for fake tickets. A lot of customers take a chance by buying tickets from an unknown source on the street the day of the event. By doing this customers run the risk of being cheated out of money. When you purchase your tickets from a licenced ticket broker you are assured the brokers have taken the proper precautions to guarentee your tickets are genuine.

What if my tickets say obstructed view?

If your ticket says obstructed view this means there is a chance there is an obstruction in your path to seeing the event. It could be a pole, beam, or sitting behind or side stage. The prices for these tickets will be considerably cheaper then regular tickets. Please make sure when you purchase obstructed view you know there is a chance you might not see the event clearly.
